King Living recently invited Sara Donaldson, of Australian fashion and beauty blog Harper & Harley and fashion website The Undone to show that fashion trends are just as significant in styling the home and interiors as they are on the runway. Using the new King Boulevard sofa with complementary furniture and accessories, Sara created a living room that celebrates her signature minimalist aesthetic.
Staying true to her three colour styling rule, Sara used her signature black, white and grey colour palette, allowing a metallic Shai Frost Baby Panama Cushion to accent the space. With velvet currently being a big trend in both the fashion and lifestyle arena, Sara chose the Rockefeller Mineral fabric to create an ‘undone luxe’ designer look and capture the unique sculptural curves of the King Boulevard sofa. This beautiful fabric illuminates the room by picking up light to create an inviting homely atmosphere.
Playing with ‘white on white’ Sara placed Matt White Amondo Edge Bookshelves before a white washed brick wall. Adorned with Sara’s favourite coffee table books, candles, plants and even her favourite handbag and pair of shoes, to give the space personality.
The soft organic shape of the new Crescent Coffee Tables lends itself perfectly to the space. Nestled together the gentle curve design adds a subtle touch of elegance.
The interior created by Sara is truly stunning, the monochromatic palette offset by the luxurious velvet work harmoniously together to create a chic and welcoming contemporary room, fit for the fashion focused.
