How would you describe the design look and feel you’ve created?

Undone luxe

What was your inspiration?

Velvet is currently a big trend in both the fashion and lifestyle arena and I wanted to hero this fabric in the space. The Rockefeller Mineral fabric is beautiful as it picks up the light while also being a more durable take on a classic velvet.

Describe your signature style and how you incorporate this into your home interior?

The Harper and Harley blog has a black, white and grey colour palette at its core, and this has definitely seeped into my interior style. My partner then brings a more surf culture spin, so we’ll accent with additional blues and greens with art and prints.

Do you think fashion trends influence interiors?

Absolutely. Case in point the recent velvet and linen trend we’ve seen across both home and fashion.

What are the top fashion trends for Spring and how can these be incorporated into the home?

In terms of colour ways khaki is back for spring, and in fabric, silk is also on the rise. These are both neutrals and classics which will last well beyond the season. Pillows and throws are easy ways to update a room, especially if you’re also working with a neutral lounge that can be worked back with multiple colour ways.

How would you describe your interior 'style’?

Minimal but homely.

What is your favourite King Living design and why?

I really like the Felix as it’s got the depth that I like, perfect for curling up in.

What is your 'must have' interior styling accessory?

Plants! and lots of them. They bring warmth and life to a room, making a big difference to a space.

What’s your top styling tip?

I like to keep my styling to a 3 colour rule. This goes for your personal style as well. Keeping the main colour palette to 3 key colours and then accenting with metallics and neutrals where needed.

What three pieces does every woman need in their work wardrobe?

Tailored black pants, a classic black pump and a structured black blazer.
