In collaboration with award-winning Australian designer Charles Wilson, King Living are honoured to be exhibiting in Milan at the third edition of LOCAL MILAN. Presented by LOCAL DESIGN, the event will take place during this year’s Milan Design Week.

LOCAL DESIGN is a carefully curated online hub, seeking uniquely designed interior products, options and ideas by creative professionals. LOCAL MILAN features 26 Australian designers and is the largest independent showcase of Australian design in Milan to date.

Charles Wilson, 1 of the 26 selected designers, will launch his Solifiore range. Aptly named Gymea, Protea and Arum, the three distinctive lights offer an incredibly unique lighting solution, resembling giant botanicals. Coloured hand-blown glass heads rest atop slender bronze stems of varying heights which are fixed upon conical concrete bases. Offering a premium design solution, an innovative control mechanism is built into the stem, allowing them to be turned on and off or dimmed, by touch. The new range is an exciting addition to the King Living product range which continues to raise the benchmark in contemporary style and luxury.

For this range to be showcased on an international scale is a testament to the unique design value of the Solifiore range and King Living as a design-led brand.

Since 2009, Wilson has been designing innovative furniture pieces that have been raising the benchmark in contemporary style and luxury. His most recent collaboration, the Zaza sofa, blends Wilson’s experimental design with King Living’s hallmark suspension, to offer an elegant, classic design.

Charles Wilson’s recent designs for King Living include the Seymour Armchair and William Sofa that offer a striking sculptural aesthetic whilst maintaining the supreme flexibility, comfort and renowned King Living quality. Charles Wilson’s collaboration with King Living offers luxurious, pioneering furniture for both residential and commercial settings.
