King Living recently hosted a VIP styling experience with Vogue Living editor-at-large and media personality Neale Whitaker and Vogue Living market editor Joseph Gardner. The event was held at the new Southbank Showroom located on the ground floor of Melbourne’s iconic Eureka building.
Guests joined us for drinks and canapés and were inspired as Neale Whitaker showcased King Living’s latest sofa design; Zaza, designed in collaboration with multi-award-winning Australian Industrial Designer, Charles Wilson. Neale discussed King Living’s rich design history, sharing his personal experience working with the brand as Vogue Living editor; and a short Q+A with Charles Wilson gave guests an insight into the King Living design process.
King Living commissioned Design Focus, Australia’s premium luxury interiors and design architects to create the beautiful new Showroom.
“ What I always take away from the King Living brand is a sense of heritage and quality, the brand has 40 years of heritage behind it.”
Drawing inspiration from the latest cover of Vogue Living, Neale and Joseph styled the Zaza in a beautiful relaxed linen Rose Quartz. Using accents of one of 2017’s biggest interior trends burnt orange and terracotta that perfectly complements the Rose Quartz. The Relaxed linen look of the Zaza was juxtaposed with Art Deco inspired elements such as the Oliver Tub Chairs in a gorgeous copper velvet that added a glam element to the look.
