The winners of Australia’s prestigious Good Design Awards were announced last night in Sydney. Taking out multiple accolades, King Living were celebrated for their excellence in design for the Sleep+ Mattress range, Jasper II sofa and ETO desk by Tom Fereday.
King Living were thrilled to receive not one but three awards for their impressive designs, speaking about the wins, King Living CEO, Anna Carrabs said;

Our design team, along with Tom Fereday are to be commended and we are exceptionally proud to have received these awards in 2019."
The annual Good Design Awards is Australia’s most admired international awards for design and innovation with a proud history dating back to 1958. The Awards celebrate the best new products and services on the Australian market, excellence in architectural design, engineering, fashion, digital and communication design and reward emerging areas of design strategy, social impact and design entrepreneurship.
The Sleep+ Mattresses received an esteemed Good Design Award Gold Accolade in the product design category. The jury described the Sleep+ Mattresses as great design with a massive amount of thought and innovation. At last, a bed that considers the change in season. Inventive and beautifully resolved with an excellent level of comfort.
The Jasper II, a Good Design Award Winner was commended for its function, form and style all wrapped up in a seriously good design. A versatile and super comfortable sofa with clever storage design featuring customisable options. Coupled with a state-of-the-art media console and plug-in tables, the Jasper II is a shining example of good design in the product category.
Finally, the ETO Desk, produced in collaboration with Tom Fereday was described as stylistically functional with a highly appealing design. The base desk design is very nicely resolved with a premium look and feel. The table design is coherent, the power pad integrates nicely and it can easily function as a small dining table or dressing table with the capacity to sit charging plates

The Good Design Awards attracted a record number of submissions with close to 700 design projects evaluated in this year’s international design awards.
