Our standard delivery routes include Adelaide, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Canberra, Perth, Melbourne and Sydney Metro areas. Please contact your nearest King Showroom for non-metro areas within Australia or export@kingliving.com.au for international deliveries.

Delivery update

Over the last 6 months, there’s been unprecedented demand for furniture globally, as more people spend more time at home.

Whilst we manufacture in both Australia and in Asia, many of our materials come from all over the world including North America, Europe and Asia.

The Australian Border Force and AQIS also introduced mandatory minimum days sailing to ensure vessels were on water for greater than 14 days, the perceived incubation period for COVID-19.

As countries managed the spread of COVID-19 by closing, reopening, and implementing many forms of social distancing, these necessary actions have caused significant disruption to our raw material supply chain since February 2020.

Empty ocean freight containers became exceptionally hard to secure due to the increased demand and restrictions for containers to return back to Asia. With reduced export demands, Australian container yards became congested with containers.

Whilst manufacturing is starting to stabilise, like all International companies, we are experiencing delivery delays due to international freight forwarding capability related to global trade imbalance.

Our NSW warehouse has increased their operations to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to expedite deliveries as soon as containers are cleared from the wharf.

Current delivery time is between 7-9 weeks for Metro areas, which includes Brisbane, Gold Coast, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. Standard deliveries to Adelaide could take up to 9-11 weeks. Delivery timeframes to Regional areas may be longer.

If delivery of your order has been impacted, our team will be in touch with you to advise of a change in delivery date.

Express Delivery

Classic Delivery includes delivery of boxed furniture only, to the nearest room closest to your front door. It does not include unpacking or assembly of the furniture.

Deluxe Delivery

Deluxe delivery includes delivery of boxed furniture, unpacking, assembly and removal of packaging.

For a minimum cost, Deluxe Delivery includes delivery of boxed furniture, unpacking, assembly and removal of all packaging. Deluxe Delivery is only available in selected metropolitan areas in and around Brisbane, Gold Coast, Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide and Perth.
